KNU - Implanter Needles Sharp - 10 pcs
Replacement needles with a cutting tip for the KNU Implanter. The sharp needle makes the recipient site and places the graft in one movement. For placement into sites that have been made in advance, see our dull KNU implanter needles.
The KNU Implanter was developed by Dr Jung-Chul Kim at KNUH (South Korea) and has been in use worldwide for over twenty years.
The method
The implanter combines making the incision and placing the graft in a single act. It is a pen-like device with a hollow needle attached to a tube and plunger. During a procedure the physician or technician loads a harvested follicular unit into the needle with forceps and hands the implanter back to the surgeon, who inserts the needle at the chosen angle and places the graft by pressing the plunger. Two to six implanters are commonly used in rotation during a procedure, and the needles come in a range of sizes to suit single, double and triple follicular unit grafts.

Channel width
The 0.8 mm and 1.0 mm needles are available in two channel widths: narrow (normal, codes OAA-2109 and OAA-2110) and wide (codes OAA-2109w and OAA-2110w). For FUT (strip) the narrow channel is advised; for FUE a combination of both is commonly used. In the wide channel the graft sits more loosely.

Shipping Options At checkout, you can choose from the following shipping methods based on your location:
- DHL Express (worldwide): Available to all supported destinations. Typically delivers within 1 business day, though delivery to more remote locations may take 2–3 business days.
- DPD (Europe only): Available for shipments within the EU. Typically delivers within 2–5 business days.
As we ship from the Netherlands within the EU single market, no customs clearance is required for either DHL or DPD shipments to EU destinations — what you see at checkout is what you pay.
Customs & Import Duties For shipments outside the EU, your order may be subject to customs duties, taxes, and import fees levied by the destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient. We recommend checking with your local customs authority before placing an order.

Refund policy
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at info@zavimed.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: Vlinderhof 1, 5345JX, Oss, The Netherlands.
If your return is accepted, we will send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Please note that return shipping costs are at your own expense. We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we cannot be held responsible for lost return shipments. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned. This includes custom products (such as special orders or personalized items) and items that have been used or are no longer in their original sealed condition for hygiene reasons — this applies in particular to sterile or single-use instruments.
Please note that under EU consumer law, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons, if they have been unsealed after delivery.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
