Incuram
Incuram is a South Korean manufacturer of hair restoration instruments and has built devices for this field exclusively since 2001. Zavimed supplies the Incuram implanter and its replacement needles from stock in Oss, the Netherlands.
The implanter
The Incuram Hair Implanter is a Choi-type implanter pen. It is intended for surgeons and technicians who place grafts directly, without pre-made recipient sites, or into pre-made sites when the protocol calls for it.
Grafts load directly into the needle without an additional trimming step. The needle is made from hardened steel and has a sharp bevel that holds its edge across a full procedure. The body is shaped for grip and controlled rotation between the fingers, with the bevel side identifiable by feel and by sight. Once the needle is seated it does not rotate inside the body and grafts do not spring back out, so the angle and depth you set are the angle and depth the graft receives.
Sizes
The implanter and the replacement needles are available in five colour-coded diameters: 0.7, 0.8, 0.9, 1.0 and 1.1 mm outer diameter. The colour coding lets the placing team pick the right size at a glance during placement.
Sterility and marking
Incuram products are supplied sterile packed and carry a CE marking.
Supply
Zavimed keeps both products in stock in Oss, the Netherlands. Within the EU there are no customs formalities.
